The development is designed to create a symbiotic relationship with the nearby Kongowea Market and surrounding residential and commercial areas, with pedestrian traffic from the neighborhood being allowed to pass through the development. 7-meter-wide pedestrian thoroughfares flanked by commercial units link the site to the surrounding neighborhood.
Affordability, efficiency, and the use of technology are major factors. The Village is designed to encourage non-motorized transport, with parking areas being confined to the outer edges of the development. PLANNING has executed the master plan and part of the Concept Design Stage.
